The press photo or link someone posted did mention only the theatrical cut being in 4k. But that's perfectly fine with me since this movie's already too long for this kind of comedy and the unrated just drags on. I already think the standard theatrical is pretty hilarious but it could have been condensed to about 90 minutes.

At first I thought this was for a different type of movie and i was so excited. Finally, hardwire p*** on 4k uhd. Then my disappointment.

They could list this at $5 with an additional $4 coupon, and I still would not buy this piece of garbage.

There is actually several 4K Blu-ray releases that only place the uncut longer version of the film on the enclosed standard 50GB Blu-ray disc and for some reason only the shorter R rated version on the 4K Blu-ray release. In the ideal world all future 4K Blu-ray releases should have the unrated version on the 4K Blu-ray along with the shorter version of the movie shown in theaters. Many 4K Blu-ray releases are being placed on triple layer 100GB discs and there is plenty of room for both versions of the movie on one disc. By placing the unrated longer versions of the movie on the standard Blu-ray it makes people want to watch the standard Blu-ray and sometimes even skip buying the 4K Blu-ray version. So my point is studios should place the longest version of the movie on the 4K Blu-ray and also both versions of the movie on the 4K Blu-ray disc so that one does not have to use the enclosed 50GB standard Blu-ray disc. |

I thought this was pretty funny. The scene at the grandpa's house was hilarious, and the slideshow was great. The PQ was okay. The crowd at the flexing contest looked blurry, like there wasn't even a real crowd there. The sound mix was quite active for a comedy.
