Ever notice how often "the grain" is wrong these days? IMO this was another movie where critics got one totally wrong. The big surprise for me was how shockingly boring it was. Lifeless characters, uninteresting story line, and the "horror" components took way too long to develop (and frankly weren't even that exciting when they got there). After the opening you could hit fast-forward for basically the next hour and change.

Admittedly they cut a good trailer though...won't be the first or last time that happened.

I'm really curious about this one. The first time I saw the trailer I thought, "this looks dumb." But I ended up seeing the trailer about 5-6 times and each time I thought it looked more interesting. I'll definitely pick it up for the audio that's been getting so much praise but it's going to be one of those blind buys that could be anywhere on the spectrum.

I totally disagree, I thought this was great entertainment.

Many of my 4K is from second-hand market because it has a slipcover. Its killing me which no slipcover

Reading the review about the audio makes me so mad at Disney and how they screw up audio for some of MCU movies that deserve great audio mixes.

Wish Paramount was still doing Marvel movies.
