Deal with it. As I said, it's for others who share my accounts. It's only Lionsgate that forces this question these days. I buy discs for me. Specifically steelbooks.

Any word on the Blu-ray in the set being region free? Due to the aforementioned great features on the disc I need to know this before I import. Otherwise I’ll wait until the U.K. release at the end of March.

It's Lionsgate. It's pretty much a guarantee it'll be Region A locked. Just like European discs will be Region B locked.

Got my hands on an early copy of the BD the other day and just finished watching the 8 Part documentary that Cliff did and it's FANTASTIC. I've caught his work on other titles and it's always fantastic and I may have bought Kin (i think it was) simply because of the bonus material. Please keep us posted on other projects because I'd buy other films simply for that sort of quality bonus material which is sadly a rarity in this day and age of 2-3 minute promotional fluff featurettes.

Yeah I saw you posting about KIN and that bonus feature is what enticed me into buying that one. I don't think I've watched the movie yet but really enjoyed all the bonus material.

Only question I had about Knives. Is that the volume seems kind of low compared to other special features on other discs.

The volume of the doc and the special features on Knives Out in comparison to special features on other Blurays in general (with the same channel/sound format) . I had to bump up the audio considerably. I also just popped in Kin and KO is much lower then it.

The film itself is LOUD. Well I haven't watched it yet but I just put it on and the Atmos trailer and opening sounded great in 7.1 although I never caught the film theatrically and instead saw in 5.1 on the awards screener.

I know this isn't the most scientific test but I wouldn't compare the film to the special features audio. Just seems the special features are mastered to a lower level then I would have thought.

Most recent (last couple years) Lionsgate codes have had the iTunes option, and the have usually redeemed UHD. Though yes, for the moment, it's not known if this particular release will have an iTunes option or not, but my guess is probably it will.

Lionsgate has been inconsistent with that, hence my inquiry a couple pages back, too. Sometimes it's Vudu only, but then sometimes they pull a single redemption for iTunes or Vudu.

I wish they'd join Movies Anywhere. Paramount and MGM, too.

Fine print for digital says "choose one provider." That means Vudu or iTunes.

Just finished this up. I liked it quite a bit but not for the story. Yeah it's an interesting little mystery that isn't all that surprising but holy shit the performances in this were absolutely fantastic! I was floored by Daniel Craig, but Michael Shannon and Chris Evans were highlights as well. Plot wise it leaves a bit to be desired but this would not be the film it is without the acting talent involved and I'll be getting the 4K at some point on that principle alone.
