Don't forget Thandie Newton... I know I'm not alone on this...

You mean the one woman with a talking role in the entire film and who is used solely as a plot device?

Yes, but I was talking about how attractive she was in that movie...

The UK preorders for SPR only appeared like a week ago, Paramount like to leave things VERY late so I'd expect the UK versions (hopefully including a boxed set) to be up for order by the end of May.

Christopher McQuarrie was kind enough to answer a question on Twitter that I had for him for the home release of 'Fallout'; it's going to be a 4K-DI.

While there's no 'official' announcement for the UHD disc yet, that at least provides Piet with an early contribution for UHD discs utilizing 4K masters.

Fingers crossed.

I'd like to pre-order right now!

I wonder when these are released if it’ll include movie money code for Fallout?

I really hope so, but I don't think Transformers or the Star Treks had any. But those UHDs came out after the latest movie was in theaters IIRC.

I know the first 2 Star Trek UHDs initially had movie cash for Beyond, because I justified my purchase of them with the fact that I could take my Dad (who's a huge TOS fan) to see the new film for free.

As for people who have a problem with the slow motion, I never see anyone complain about all of the slow motion shots in The Matrix, and I would argue it has just as much. So why is that do you think?

This fight scene is pretty damn cool too!

Mission: Impossible 2 (9/9) Movie CLIP - Not a Bad Way to Go (2000) HD - YouTube
Count me in among the apparent minority who love MI:2 and believe it is the best of the MI-films. The slow motion is way cool and classy imo, the style, the score, the action - a very entertaining movie which I can watch again and again. Now looking forward to owning and enjoying the 4K BD soon!

This is now listed on Baseorg.uk with a release date of 11th July. So it will be released in the UK. Just waiting patiently for the pre orders now.

No box set though.

That’s a Wednesday so suspect that’s the digital release date with the physical likely to be a couple of weeks later. Great news though.

Damn, I'm still hoping for a boxset though. I think it's only logical after Transformers, Tomb Raider and Cloverfield.

I agree, I would have liked to get a box set as well, like with transformers. Hopefully it’ll still get a box set and it hasn’t been listed at baseorg yet. As foxborough said above, the release date on baseorg states 11th July which is on a Wednesday (when it should be on a Monday), so the listing could be for the digital code release, so there’s always hope for it to be a box set.

Bloody hope so. Or it’s going to be an extremely expensive month importing all of them.

I was just thinking how Paramount should just make the month of June 'Tom Cruise Month', and release 'Collateral' on 4K along with Reacher and the MI series.
