i actually appreciate the first one for brian de palma.
finally sat through part 2 on hbo and i couldn't stop laughing for just how much of a silly woo fest it is. if i could get 1 and 2 i'd be happy.
tho, live die repeat 4k would be amazing.

nice find! If the Transformers Boxset is anything to go by, within 6-8 months this should be about £35 - £40 with some deals.

Told ya there'd be a boxset. Not jumping on it straight away though, TF 1-5 was nowhere near that price at launch, never mind that silly reduction it got just a couple months later as mentioned by Lion!

Still waiting on zoom to come up with a decent price on the Tomb Raider double pack though, it's been a while on that one.

Yeah that UK boxset is way too pricey! Will probably grab it when Fallout is released on UHD, assuming the transfers are good and it drops in price.

Oh ye of little faith. It's not going to be anywhere near that price come release day. Amazon gonna amazon....until they're grudgingly forced to price match another retailer.

Why?? Even if they did, you will always have your core track. They have done great job with SPR & Braveheart recently with Atmos tracks. Given these are action packed, I wish they did the same for MI & Jack Ryan series.

I think it's stranger that they went with Dolby TrueHD, when they have DTS-HD-MA tracks from the Nordic and Asian re-releases of 1-3 lying around.

I don't have object based audio myself but I can certainly understand the disappointment for Atmos owners when a movie does not have an Atmos track.

Ooooohhhhhh £72 for the lot is much more tempting, basically it's a few quid under a "2 for £30" price if I were to get all five in such an offer (which would be £75). But will zoom come up with a stupid price for the boxset a bit further down the line? They did it (and keep doing it) with TF, sure, but why not the Tomb Raider double pack for instance?

Eh. Just like that, my resistance has crumbled. Ordered.

I don't even know how much the TR pack was, I just ordered it immediately when it became available with no regrets at all.

72GBP is reasonable enough, if Amazon UK or Zavvi match that I might bite.

Well, I ordered with a 25% off promo that zoom were running so it was like £59 and that was an awesome price for a five pack of UHD movies, still is, but when they dropped it to like £35 or something stupid like that just a couple months later it was rather annoying. I know that stuff drops in price, I ain't stupid, but that one took the piss just a lil' bit.

Still, as I said, I've done ordered MI anyway. Some of these will be 35mm remasters and one of the others had a 4K DI finish so in that sense paying a bit extra doesn't sting as much. And we'll get it a few days early too.

[edit] Boshed the GI Joe 2-pack in there as well, it's up at £35 but with the 10% off it's £31.50. Again, close enough to a twofer offer.

Looks like a few of these are sold out on Best Buy. Still available for order from Target. I know more will come in stock, but sharing in case anybody is hesitating to pre-order now.

It's not the same track, it plays back on older equipment but it is a remix.
Both is a fine compromise, like Criterion did with The Game.
