I'd be down for updated mixes for both Star Wars and Halloween. And every movie in existence for that matter. Audio should not be stuck in the limitations of its era.

I still think that Annie stinger is a mistake. The three other times that we hear that stinger (or is it four?) sound the same as it does in the mono. I believe that was the only time in the film that a stinger sounds different.

Which is what makes it more annoying, in a way. "Why don't we change the stinger when [picks name out of a hat] Annie gets killed?"

They've tried but he blew them off when they made an offer and refused to discuss it further. Publicly, he's said he wants points on a release. I mean, good luck with that. I'd like to see the footage too but I'm not sure how much widespread appeal there really is for many hours of silent outtakes.

And from what I understand that footage doesn’t really contain any scenes that weren’t used in the film. So probably all it amounts to is another two versions of the movie that could be recreated using alternate takes. Maybe there are some bloopers but as you say there’s no sound so why would it be worth that much?

i finally got my 4k copy after i got a 4k tv and i noticed there’s an audio issue where the audio cuts out a lot. is anyone else having this problem?

The Halloween 6 mask used in the opening is fine, the rest are terrible.
