Yeah definitely in at 20 bucks. I remember liking all 3 individually, although it's been quite awhile since I've seen them (doubt I've ever seen the first 2 in HD). I recall this trilogy carving out a pretty unique world. Even if they weren't the greatest movies they were ambitious and fun. Hoping they hold up because I'll probably pickup the sequels for cheap between now and then so I can watch the trilogy on release week.

I used to like this one in DVD a long while ago. After watching the Blu-ray recently I can’t understand why. Maybe for its time it had something going for it. I did remember thinking the stylized color looked a bit digital. Maybe the 4k will refine that better.

Saw this in the theatres and is still one of my favorite sci-fi movies of all time. So glad it's a getting an awesome release. Pre-ordered!

I actually liked the two sequels. Pitch Black will still be head and shoulders above, but will pick up the other two if they get UHD releases.

Surely the thinking was we need to design a cover artwork that is so hideous, the buyer will need to keep it from being exposed to light and being "pitch black".

I will pre-order this, saw it in the theatre, rewatched it decade later and is probably the only Vin Diesel movie I like.

I've had the universal blu ray limited edition steel books for the first two movies all these years. I might just put the new discs in my steel book if i don't like the art.

I don't see how it can. That was a huge pricing mistake. Especially considering this is their first UHD, right?

Doubtful. That had to be a mistake. I could see 30-35 maybe, but not 20. I'm just glad it automatically adjusted my preorder.

This is why I pre-order the day the pre-order is up.

It may have been like $49.99 when I pre-ordered it, but I know that is not the lowest price it's going to be.

If I ever don't want a title I pre-order, I can cancel close to the release date. I get the lowest price it hits before it ships.

My order updated to $19.99 automatically and I don't have to babysit waiting to order and risk missing out on the lowest price.

Best of all, Amazon doesn't even pre-authorize your card like Best Buy and definitely doesn't charge you until it ships.
