It's more so the bad Canadian dollar that makes it hurt. it would be about $175 if the dollars were equal

Firestarter and Darkman have some pretty bad artificial sharpening on their BDs, would love to see them remastered.

All but H3 are on there. You have to filter your search and sort by newest arrivals.

Firestarter has been remastered in 2K by Shout Factory, but Darkman indeed needs a remaster necessarily, despite the fact that Shout Factory released the movie on Blu-ray keeping the same solid picture of 2011's Universal release and 5.1 and 2.0 tracks and new interviews.

That's right Doctor. Let's hope that Shout Factory or another distributor will re-animate the movie with a new 4K Blu-ray release.

I was hoping there would be a review soon of the new H1 - 5 4K's before I pre-ordered. I'll most likely just do the pre-order this weekend. I'm happy with the HII & HIII Steel Books and the other Shout Factory Blu-Rays I have so these new Halloween 4K's should look good.

From what I understand horror and sci fi fans are more of collectors of physical media than audiences of other genres. So is it safe to assume most of the major horror franchises will eventually get released on UHD?

I can't believe this terrific list doesn't include The Warriors (1979). I mean, you have Walter Hill's other classic Streets of Fire.........

He's just listing titles that Scream Factory have put out, and The Warriors isn't one of those.

That said, I'm sure most, if not all of us, would love a UHD for The Warriors.

For me, the Lionsgate UHD + the original mono from the Criterion LD has been my go-to. It's the best way to watch this one, imo. Looking forward to seeing this release, though!

Well it's $199 total for all 5 from Amazon Canada thanks to taking advantage of a gift card. Of course you have to deal with their shoddy packaging and questionable delivery timeframes, so in the end I'm not sure if it's just as well to get them from Shout

Some of those reasons are why I might just stick with my order at Unobstructed View. For the moment it's still $20 cheaper there anyway, until Amazon starts playing with their prices.
