As anticipated, I just scored this 4k at my local Best Buy. Amazon order cancelled. It's practically a tradition now. I'm utterly certain that I'll be doing the exact same thing as the other four titles roll in next week, and Amazon doesn't ship out dik-all.

Holy shit.

Went on a quick trip to Best Buy. After searching the new release display and their movie section, couldn’t find the UHD.

Had a team member search it in their database as that store only had one copy available. He went in the back and retrieved it for me.

Afterwards, I found the Mandy steelbook. When checking out at register, the steelbook rang up as 22.99 when their website had it listed for 19.99. I brought this up and they called manager to adjust the price.

And here’s the best part. The lady misspoke and had the manager price adjust Halloween from 26.99 to 19.99. What luck! This is my receipt as proof.

Looks like Halloween II copies are slowwwwly trickling in. An hour ago there were no Best Buy locations within 250 miles of me that were carrying this, and now it's in-stock 23 miles away, in Compton. Tempted.... but I think by the end of the day mayyybe there'll be a couple closer. I'm so ready.

I'll just wait until Diabolik sends it out. I have a toddler, so my opportunities to even watch these over the next week or so are pretty nill.

She's about 3 and totally into some spooky stuff. She loves the holiday and seeing scary-looking costumes. In a few years, I might dip the toe into some Michael Myers (maybe start with the TV cut on this disc) and see how it goes!

I went from the anchor bay blu ray to this disc and wow what an upgrade haha

Great release it looks about as good as I think the film can get

I'm sure it's old hat to most, but this was my first time hearing the newer commentary with Carpenter/Curtis. Wow, what a great listen. One of the more enjoyable commentaries that I have ever heard. I'm amazed at how well she knows the more technical details of the film, as well as her incredible memory in general. It's definitely not one of those "I haven't seen this movie since the premiere" tracks where they sit there just reacting like they have never seen it before. That lady knows her Halloween.
