I definitely would, not sure I like what that says about me but I know I for sure would

Now if it also included the Criterion audio commentary, the On Location: 25 Years Later featurette and the production photographs from the 1999 DVD in addtion to the Criterion mono and the already included features from the Scream 4K and then I would be done buying this movie once and for all.

I wouldn't mind just buying an LD player, at least I could get the original Star Wars trilogy at the same time as the Halloween disc.

You can get the unaltered versions of the original trilogy on DVD. Or in HD via the Despecialized Editions or the newer 4K77/81/83 editions (81 not released yet though).

I listened to that on my iPod a couple months ago. Was an interesting experience. I could almost hear the dialogue even though there wasn’t any.

I just want to know if they still have slips or not, anyway maybe I pull the trigger tomorrow. I bet amazon will send all in a crappy paper mailer but the price is good, maybe I take risk.

They use slipboxes, not slipcovers, and I'm 99% sure they still ship with them. If not, I'm sure either Shout would announce it, or somebody here would mention it. You should be good.

From what people have said these will have the boxes for as long as Shout sells them, nothing to worry about, certainly not when they just came out in October, even Shout gives 3 months for slipcovers.

Well I pull the trigger on the 5 titles on Amazon, I save $31.25 vs Diabolik and others stores.

I bet I'll waste my time but tomorrow I'll chat on Amazon customer support to see if they can use a better packing to ship than this crap: https://www.reddit.com/r/boutiqueblu..._my_halloween/ I bet they will say "yes!!! we will make a great packing for you" and later... a paper mailer! LOL

Every movie order from amazon lately has been in paper, if I order 3-4 movies it will be a bubble mailer. A little bit sad. I did get a bunch of those $9.99 4k discs from the sale with mint slips though, so sometimes luck is good. Those Shout boxes would definitely have a high chance to come dinged in either. If you're getting all 5 it's typical they'd come in a box with one air pillow, but watch them come in bubble mailers as separate shipments.

The only time I might get a box is if I happen to order something else in addition to a movie/s, or a previous non-movie order happens to be shipping at the same time and they combine it.

Almost everything I receive movie wise is in the dread bubble mailer.

I swear when I try that they will ship the bulky thing in a box and the movies in a mailer anyway. I ordered some guitar parts and movies once and they did that very same thing.

But then they still might mail them together. I ordered drill/forstner bits with a BD and well, it wasnt the drill bits that were smashed.
