Lionsgate either went back to the negative or a 35mm print to create the 4K master. Or for all we know they upconverted the Blu-ray which already looked like it was upconverted from the DVD.

Review is up and I'm disappointed (but not surprised) they reused the same terrible regular blu from the original release. I was holding out hope for a remaster of the regular blu. Oh well. I still have my DVD with the awesome menus.

Pretty decent for a cash grab. A fine field of grain is present throughout, and there's some nice moments of detail. The movie doesn't really have any moments of color that would produce a 'wow', but it's much better color than the Blu-ray. I think it bodes well for movies that LG (and people) will actually care about.

I want Highlander, Stargate, and the original Rambo trilogy from Lionsgate in 4K. I have no idea when we'd get the first two, but Rambo will come with the next - and final - film in the series.
