Gonna semi-blind buy this at Amazon for $10.

I've never seen this film, because at the time I purchased the DVD way back when, I was struggling hardcore with panic attacks. I was using movies as my distraction, and the heart pumping scenes/etc. were just too much for me to handle and always made me over analyze my own body sensations. Looking forward to this one as I enjoy the over the top action scenes in all of this guy's movies

Anyone who redeem digital did it disappear for you? I had this in my vudu and is no longer there, along with Crank 2 and Transporter 3, wondering if its a studio thing?

Sorry for the thread bump, purchased on Amazon this morning. I saw this movie in theaters when it first came out & it was never a good looking picture to begin with & that was the intention. This may be the one time when the so-called format experts are not helping matters. I do agree though that if people new to 4K see this one, it’ll be a turn off. In others words the movie is intentionally supposed to look like crap. I’ll see it for myself when it arrives.

Movie looked ok for the way it was & this is probably the best it’s ever gonna look. Too bad we can get the sequel in 4K now. The style was a bit different.

Anyone order off Amazon recently and can confirm if it arrived with a slipcover or not? Got my copy from Best Buy in the mail today and it came without a slip. Wonder if I should try Amazon?

Title is over a year and half old... I'd be stunned if Amazon still had copies with slip covers.

Wasn't Leonine Films the distributor that put out the UHD of Drive which got a lot of criticism? So will this be worse than the US release?

I'm really late to the party on this one but does anyone else think the 4K disc looks like it has a blur filter applied to it ? Shows up in multiple different caps too. Maybe the blu-ray just had over-sharpening and the 4K didn't? I'm still seeing less detail either way.

The 4K was sourced from a filmout, while the BDs were sourced from a (probably) pure digital workflow

Absolutely. Loved it. Sometimes we spend too much time caring about disc specs when really its all about a wild fun time action movie, that's what this is.
That 5.99 sale was supposed to be Friday thru Sunday 3-day sale and should have ended by now. Better hurry and get one reserved at that price.

I just bought it for $6, but I'd be curious to hear about the extended 4K edition from Germany. Sounds like it came out earlier this year but nobody has commented on it either in this thread or its own thread.

Finally got my $6 copy in, thought this disc looked glorious, soundtrack is pumping. Crank still has the best character dialogue I've probably ever heard in a film like this, some of it as funny as ever, movies now are painful to even listen to compared to what's in Crank. Seeing this again makes me wanna watch Collateral now.
