My amazon pre-order still says nothing. I was hoping for december but I guess Jan is fine too :/

I've never heard of a 7 week early digital.

I was pleasantly surprised by this in thatres, but I'll probably wait for a box set with both films down the line instead of getting it right out the gate.

VideoEta has made mistakes before. It's the same site that originally posted the May 15 date for La La Land and then fixed it later to the correct one of April 25.

IT should still be coming out on December 12 but until we get a press release, it's anyone's guess.

Studios anymore are taking a long time to announce release dates for all the movies this year it seems like.

With how phenomenal this performed at the box office and the critical/audience reception, this would be a no brainer for a stocking stuffer...gotta believe WB/New Line would be losing money by waiting until January.

I feel the same way as you, and am surprised that, even though it's been a full two months since its theatrical release, there's been no press release about the Blu-ray/DVD release yet. Nor, if you think about it, an official confirmation from Warner Bros. in regards to an extended cut that Muschietti spoke of over a month ago. I don't mind waiting for the release date itself, whether it be at the end of this month (no way), next month (hopefully!), or January (ugh), I just wanna know when I'm waiting til.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm just eager to see how the new scenes affect the whole perception of the movie, because based on reports on test screenings, we MAY see a bit more gruesome, unrated maybe, Director's Cut. And I'm pretty sure the Muschiettis wouldn't have dare to talk about it if they weren't 100% sure of it. So I guess is all matter of patience.

I really hope this does well on UHD so we can have UHD releases for both Conjuring and Annabelle movies asap.
