It wasn't distracting just noticeable. Maybe I was just trying to look for it as I can be very analytical with PQ. |

![]() Which of these looks more accurate in terms of color? Both were captured from the same file, which contains HDR. However, the first one was captured while the file was being output by Windows 10 in HDR, which resulted in the output being converted to SDR by the video-capture software that I used. On the other hand, the second one was captured while the file was being output in SDR, which resulted in the output being converted to SDR by Windows 10 before being delivered to the video-capture software that I used. I think that the latter looks more accurate. The first one's colors are oversaturated and its highlights are blown out. EDIT: Actually, in the first case, the conversion should be attributed to the playback software that I used (VLC) and not the capture software. Last edited by BluRayHiDef; 07-12-2018 at 06:57 AM. |

I never saw it in theaters, but a commenter on another clip from the movie who says that he saw it in theaters expressed an opinion that indicates that he would agree with me about these two clips. |

I say that because I once had tiny white flakes and it turned out to be a cable. |

I watched 1999’s The Mummy last night and that was shot on film and did not experience any tiny white specks in the image like with this one. Also many others that are shot on film and I’ve yet to experience this issue before. |
