The only way I'm buying this is if the movie isn't in 3D in theaters. Otherwise, No Purchase

I'm not sure about theatrical 3D, it's not looking promising at the mo.

Saw Dark Fate last Friday (press viewing). Was really anxious it would be a real disappointment, since T2 is my all time favourite.
But...it wasn't! Okay, it's not T2 and some things were corny. But I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to see it again.

20th FOX will release this in the UK. Maybe Dolby Vision vs Dolby Vision/HDR10+.
It may end up being a BD-66 in the UK (Fox) vs BD-100 in the US (Paramount)

Just saw a surprise advance screening of Terminator: Dark Fate last night! All I can say right off the bat is that this IS the Terminator movie I’ve been waiting for since T2. Brutal, visceral with action that’ll make any fan of the series salivate.

I can’t wait to see it again!

Action is fine and all...but what about the story and characters? Good story? Good character development?

It did a good enough job balancing the new characters with the old and giving everyone their fair share amount of screen-time. I thought the Grace character in particular was a stand out. I don't want to get too deep in order to not spoil anything for anyone.

But yeah, the explosions and action are amazing because lets face it, that's the main reason why you go to see a Terminator movie! Tim Miller adds the balls to the series that have been lacking since T2.

What about humor? Is this another Genisys cause if it is, then I might as well skip it altogether.

There's a few lines that were duds, but overall this is a huge improvement in every way in comparison to all of the other sequels. Arnie has a few standout moments that the whole crowd loved.

I'm in the same boat, can't wait to see it again. It isn't T2, but comes real close and is definately better than Rise, Salvation and Genisys.

That's exactly how I feel. Nothing will ever come close to T2 but this proves that a Terminator movie can be entertaining and successful in its own right. The whole crowd I saw it with really enjoyed it so I think this will be a crowd pleaser for most.

If this tanks will Paramount shut down shop or or ask someone else to buy them? They haven't made good money for more than a year and it looks more like Paramount Dark Fate

Update: so looks like this is from Fox.

What would be the reason for this? Would they release a weaker encoding, or just drop something potentially?
