Movie looked great in Dolby so the UHD should be fine.

That's what I meant, this stuff is literally built into the post-production schedule for a new movie so more than likely it's already been done, I was just speculating that if the original DP wasn't around to finish the movie then it's kinda unlikely that he'd have overseen the video passes due to the proximity of one process to the other.

Not sure what odds DV makes to the process though. Warners have been grading their HDR stuff in DV for a quite a while, it's only now that they're starting to actually include DV on disc.

For most of his screen time Henry's face was half CGI, so you're completely wrong about the proportions.
I don’t remember saying you’re not allowed to have an opinion so chill out, it’s not that serious.

And I’m also not wrong about proportions considering I never said anything about them, only that the shots were not noticeable for the most part and the shots where it was were brief.

Just putting this out there. Mark Hughes, John Campea, Germain Lussier, and Jeremy Conrad have all said that there is no Snyder cut per say. It's an assembly cut when unfinished VFX and incomplete scenes. And they say the studio will not pay even Moore to finish that. And regardless, that was such an early cut that it still wasn't Zack's vision. He still would've worked on it and changed it for the remaining 6 months he had. Those 4 guys and GabrielGray said that the petition has some inaccurate info and studios never listen to petitions. So make of that what you will!
Yeah, there was no "Snyder Cut" he left when there was about 6 months left in the production phase to go however there may be an extended cut in which completed scenes/shot in the various trailers will be added back in.

^ well it was fun while it lasted. I do think we'll see SOME kind of extended cut, but not the "Snyder's Ultimate Savior Edition."

Yeah, I think a few folks have been putting 2 and 2 together and are getting 5, like with the studio still finishing VFX or already having complete VFX for deleted scenes; the former may just be for the deleted scenes on the Blu and the latter, well, shit happens. Sometimes scenes can be dropped very late in the day despite having been fully finished and several million dollars having been spent on them, the 'Return to Krypton' opener from Superman Returns cost a full $10M IIRC but never even made the final cut.

VFX artist on the film (identity verified) confirms there will not be a "Snyder cut". Doesn't rule out an extended cut of some form, but it won't be Snyder's cut. https://www.reddit.com/r/DC_Cinemati...ese_films_ama/

To the best of his knowledge, VFX work is only being done on cut scenes for either an extended cut or to spruce them up to appear on the Blu-Ray (although he implies that now the scenes have been leaked that might not happen). He also takes the stance that the film's problems are WB's fault for not pushing the film back to allow Whedon to restructure it and allow the VFX work to be finished.

The 2015 Fantastic Four cut several action sequences that had been filmed and completed too (a sequence with the Thing raiding a military camp in the middle of the film and a longer battle against Doctor Doom for instance).

Movies are made in the edit. There's never an actual guarantee that something you've shot/completed the VFX on will ever actually be in the final film.

And from what people involved in the film have been saying, Snyder never actually had a completed cut of the film. Or at least one he was happy with at any rate.

Exactly, there is good reason they had to shoot a ton of new stuff.
