Who cares about the cover? If you already have any of the previous 87,000 blu-ray releases, just use the OG artwork.

I kinda do. Obviously to me A/V quality comes first, extras, commentary, etc. But at an MSRP of 39.99, for yet another reissue, I'd have hoped they'd have put a little more effort into making a nice slipcover/cover.

These look horrible, and a majority of people agree. People shouldn't have to Frankenstein a release because Shout chose a 12 year old to design the covers for a multi million dollar franchise.

I understand that the film’s poster will almost certainly be on the reverse of the case itself, but ugh. I’ll take Lionsgate’s cover art any day because it was simple and just kept the poster.

Nothing about the transfer, but somebody who claims to be in the know said the mono audio will be included.

I don't hate the art as much as the majority. It's bad for sure - it's kind of like if you had a "story of Halloween" storybook from the 80's - this would be the art for it. The focus on leaves is odd for all of the covers. But I do like the colors, and for instance the hospital in the background of II, and I think part III is sort of cool, again with the background. I can see why so many dislike them, but they're so odd and unique - they remind me of some generic VHS art you'd see from the 80's.

Is there anything that can be done about Scream Factory’s art dept.? Can we get the Justice Department to look into them? Surely they’re violating several federal statutes. This nonsense has been going on for far too long. Their new artwork for Alone In The Dark is just as bad.

I feel like I’m the only one who likes the whimsy-ness of this art, at least for the first one. The theme does get a little tired since it goes all the way to five. Not too concerned, I’ll only be seeing the spine for most of the time anyway.
