I held off for YEARS on those old Halloween III discs, finally! Will gladly pick up this 4K. But I am SUPER completely content with my 35th Anniversary BD of the first film, I'm good on that. And for the rest... nahhhh, I love the first and the third is a good horror film, that's about where I stop. I do have a guilty pleasure fixation with Part 6, think I would deserve to be committed buying a 4K of that film though, but wonder if it will ever see the light of day on UHD, Brother Kane in 4K?

With these all confirmed, here I am, the one person on Earth waiting for a UHD of Halloween H20.

Now that 1-4 are on 4K. I'm waiting for H20 with you.

I kid. It just feels like it gets less attention than the earlier films in general.

For me there are two options for the Halloween timeline:

Halloween - Halloween II - H20

Halloween - Halloween 2018

3 is its own thing. 4 and 5 are okay but not essential. 6, Resurrection and the Rob Zombie movies don't exist.

Amazon also states that it’s a 2 disk version, is this wrong since the artwork clearly states 3 disks.

Has original audio been confirmed for any of these releases, specifically Halloween?

Yup, and they give you the original color timing. Whatever that means when it comes to this movie.

A correctly color-timed H20 would be great and put an end to people dunking on the CGI mask.

It looks fine in 35mm when properly hidden in shadow!

Well, on the third Blu-ray for the original colour anyway.

The color timing thing is raising the most questions for me. If the "original" is on disc 3, what is on discs 1 and 2, supervised by Cundey?

Hm.
"NEW 2021 4K Scan From The Original Negative, Approved By Cinematographer Dean Cundey"

so....huh. Maybe disc 3 is the original color timing used for the Lionsgate uhd? I want whatever was released in the 70s on the uhd. Why is that so hard? Disc 3 doesn't even have the original mono so why put the actual original color-timing on that?

That’s thing, there are so many arguments on what this movie looked like back in 1978, I think no one really knows. Not even Cundy.

Isn’t the current available 4k original color?
