In Sweden the distributor is Noble Entertainment, infamous for putting out the worst 4K disc ever for Hitman’s Bodyguard. Someone even compared it to the early days of dvd, exaggerated undoubtedly, but it makes me very cautious about this Rambo release. I’m not putting up my cash until someone can give a good word about the disc....

Got the swedish one on preorder (Since I'm from Sweden). Noble generally sucks so i wouldn't be surprised if it's lossy dd 5.1 on it. They did this with the uhd of Hellboy last year.

I picked up the Danish UHD a couple of days ago and watched it tonight. It both looks and sounds stunning and it runs 100.30 minutes.

I've just pre ordered the Italian 4k steel book. It was the only euro steelie i could find for pre order with the 101 cut.
We shall see when it turns up from Amazon.it in a few days. I'll report back my findings.. Might be a week or two as my projector is going off for repair, so my theater will be out of action until it comes back ![]() ![]() |

Can you watch the movie in English audio and then go to the beginning when Gabrielle and her grandmother are arguing in Spanish? Are the subs shown in English or Danish? If it's Danish, I might as well cancel my German pre-order as I doubt it will be any different. |

Regarding subtitles on the Danish UHD. There are only the choice of Swedish, Norwegian or Danish subtitles, none of which can be removed. So no English subs, and also no English subs for Spanish dialogue either, unfortunately. Which also means there's no English burnt-in subs for any of the Spanish dialogue. Danish UHD's are usually only intended for Scandinavia, so they mostly just contain Danish, Swedish and Norwegian subs anyway.
Be careful with the German UHD as well, since its supposed to only have German subs. I do own some German BD's which have English subs, but not many have them. |
