I hope so. I'll definitely pick up H6 and likely pick up H20. I have no need for the rest.

And honestly, I doubt RZ intended either of his films, especially RZH2, to be in 4K quality.

Splicing in the TV version scenes was brought up but there's difficulties due to the poorer quality source of those scenes and issues they encountered by having to crop the scenes to get them to match the original movie screen ratio

Which is understandable because, Diabolik, Shout Factory, Kino Lorber, Vinegar Syndrom and Zavvi are small independent companies, who have to charge more for their 4K and Blu-ray releases to make a profit. They're not big chain retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Barnes & Nobles etc, who can afford to discount their merchandise to lower competitive prices.

Yeah, I can't see them topping SS terrific release. Besides, it would most likely have one of their horrendous covers and need a replacement program for one thing or anther.

That might be important because that first 4K from Lionsgate is garbage. I've literally watched the standard Blu-Ray that came with it more than the 4K.

The original 2-channel audio mixes are not included in the NSM Blu-rays for 4 and 5. The 2.0 mixes on them are just downmixes of the 5.1.

Definitely not anytime before late 2022 when the third entry in the trilogy comes out. Universal is pretty hesitant on allowing rights to an active franchise go and the Blum trilogy is still in production. After then I'm not sure, but it'll probably been likely that it happens with in 10 years of the release of Halloween Ends.

I don’t think Paramount is opposed to licensing titles at the moment, but a random IG comment is not really a good source. He could also be referring to the several SF titles released prior to the rumor that Paramount won’t license out titles anymore. And 6-8 are Miramax titles. Miramax hasn’t licensed any titles out since the Paramount deal happened.
