If Season of the Witch had been the first Halloween movie, I wonder if people would’ve complained that there weren’t any witches in the sequels.

God, H20 is like almost unwatchable. I was floored by how bad it was when I rewatched it shortly after getting the deluxe edition set from Shout back in 2014. Hadn't seen it in years and have not revisited it since. Not even nostalgia can save that one for me.

It's one of the worst entries in the entire series IMO and I cringe whenever it gets ranked higher than the first 4 and 2018. Lol.

Anyone think the full set Shout did back in the day or an updated version will ever be released again? No way I could spend what I think I saw was like $600 for a used set on amazon. I'm thinking about picking up the first five on 4K when they are released as long as the quality is good, but kind of wish that there was a full box set to purchase with all of the extras.

I actually rank them in the order of release. Every movie is a little worse than the last.

Halloween > Halloween II > Halloween III > Halloween 4 > Halloween 5 > Halloween Curse > Halloween H2O > Halloween Resurrection

I think it will happen eventually. Apparently there are some issues with the rights of 6-7-8 and the Rob Zombie movies but I think they'll get it resolved.

My hope is that'll release them individually for the people that bought the singles and then offer a box set later for everyone that wants it all in one set.
