That reads like bot work, not the work of “fans”. Probably one or two making a bunch of fake accounts.

I don't pay attention to the reviews on big budget movies (I watch all of them anyway) but for low budget movies I check the history of people rating movies high. Fake ones usually only have < 10 reviews total, often only 1 or 2. If it's hundreds, you know it's real.

Now Lady Gaga fans are saying it's not them and are blaming DC fans for this fiasco.

I'd be nice if the 4K UHD edition features D-Box, I love how in the Dolby Cinema presentation - the bass during the rock songs have a little kick/bass pulse to the seats.

question - was this shot on film or digital capture? in Dolby Cinema it had a nice filmic look to the image.

I saw this in Dolby vision last night. I am surprised to say that this probably had the most fine detail and dynamic coloring of any movie I’ve ever seen in Dolby vision. I was quite surprised with the quality of presentation compared to the genre. The bass in the seats during the concert scenes was awesome.

I was hating on this but after seeing more trailers and the accolades I must see this. Going to be a long wait for this one.

In my experience, most movies are out of the theaters in a few weeks, and those that stay longer are usually relegated to single screens. I think it is a rare exception that a movie would still be in theaters after one month, let alone two or three. Certainly back in the day, movies could and did stay in the theater for months.

They show one example. Seems more like a smear campaign on Lady Gaga fans.

Either way, I doubt there were many people who were going to be dissuaded from seeing Venom to seeing A Star is Born. Not exactly the same crowd for mainstream audiences.

I plan to see both sooner or later.

I have no desire to see this movie but it has the possibility to be a standout on UHD, more so if it gets DV and Atmos. Seems like a great movie for immersive audio

Also, no CGI (or almost none. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some CGI somewhere) and natural sets and costumes should hopefully make the performances seem real.

I think this is going to stay in theaters for a long long time. My regular theater just stopped showing Incredibles II this week. Take the money (I assume) this movie is going to rake in & add that to their awards season push, I bet this will still be there in January.

You really should see it. It was incredible! Great music, too. It will have serious legs and be in theaters for nonths.
