Saw a sneak-preview of John Wick 3 Wednesday night, and it might be the best yet. This series has some of the most original gun/knife/fight scenes ever filmed.

I saw this in Dolby last night. It looks and sounds just as good, if not better than the last one. It will be another reference 4k disc.

Loved the first, the second is very good but not as interesting as the original.
I may be the only one saying this, and I take that.
I only started linking it when that line is said.
It's fine, very well made bar the poor sound mix but it's hard for a third sequel to be fresh and it didn't feel it at all.
Now Wick was never original, but its world building was its strength.
Now I know it's a movie but Dacascos vs Reeves felt a little like Walker vs Jaa, suspended all disbelief here.
I am glad that the bike scene is not a full rip off of The Villianess.
I did like it, it's a solid movie and a great trilogy, and it shows that Chad (while making a lot less bank) was the best visualist of the JW duo.
I want him to do more than this series ideally, I would love to see him to the Matrix if WB are doing it.
If the first is 9/10, 2 would be 7/10 and this an 8/10
This gets the boost from THAT line onwards alone.
Do have to say the use of CGI is distracting for such a physical practical series.

Do watch if you liked the others.

Will again be a HDR show off disc, did not like the front loaded sound mix tho

Easily the least surprising thing I've read in this thread.

Look forward to watching it this weekend, and to the eventual UHD release.

Saw this last night in Dolby as well. Loved it from the minute it started. HDR should be top notch when the disk releases.

John Wick is so snazzy. Hollywood rarely makes such top tier action flicks anymore, films that are in the spirit of 90s movies but with a modern presentation.

Dolby Cinema for this is the perfect example why there needs to be more Dolby Vision discs available for home viewing. This better have DV!
