Fun movie & definitely better than the last F&F movie. This movie will look gorgeous in 4K also, especially the Samoa scenes in the third act.

Went to see this on Thursday...and the theater was pretty much empty apart from some annoying kids whose mother obviously got dragged along with them.

As a stand-alone movie I thought this was fine, there’s nothing spectacular about the plot and some of the jokes went over better than others. But in all honesty it didn’t feel like a true F&F film to me. The fact that they will attempt to continue on with Hobbes & Shaw separate from the F&F films makes me wonder how successful the future of the franchise will be. It’s clear Vin and Dwayne want nothing to do with each other but it will be interesting to see if any of the other characters bleed over into the rest of the films.

Cinema attendances are fairly abysmal everywhere apart from for major blockbuster kids films in school holidays. I’ve always objected to paying the same price as a Blu Ray just to see one movie in a theatre one time, but recently got a “Limitless” pass which, as I’m not working means I can watch every movie release there is and I’ve quickly realised how poorly attended the multiplexes are (even with a big IMAX included). I look at the number of staff, the cost of air conditioning etc and the number of tickets sold and wonder how on earth cinemas are managing to survive.

Back on topic, there were about 16 people in my imax late morning screening. But the film has made no.1 at the USA box office and should do the same here in the UK. It’s a fun ride and one of those films best appreciated on a big IMAX screen.

There’s only 2 more Fast & Furious films. The spin-offs will continue. I haven’t seen Hobbs & Shaw yet but I’m sure they’ll be fine.

Well I live in Ireland saw just a regular 7:30PM screening and it was full. And they were showing screenings every hour.

No IMAX screenings here in SF but the regular screen was big enough to enjoy. Agree that it is a fun movie.

My showing first day release was packed. Haters gonna hate. Fun crowd though that had a blast, minus the annoying hood rats with a baby.

Today on my birthday, I'm going to see this movie in RPX (Regal's answer to IMAX) format at Regal Cinemas. Hopefully this will be just as fun as the last few Fast and Furious films.

I had more fun with this than I did with The Fate of the Furious. It was a hilarious too. Definitely the most laughs of the whole series.

This movie can go rot in hell. I hope it bombs miserably.

The Rock ruined what was once a cool franchise. I don't care that they've made a bunch more money since Fast Five. These movies were infinitely better when they were about the cars and had much more of a cult following. Now we get buddy cop summer trash.
