And I did what I had to do to make a good action movie, but somebody wouldn't let us succeed! Then I come back to the theater, and I see all those critics on the internet. Protestin' me, spittin', callin' me "racist!" and all kinds of vile crap!

I guess it's all a matter of perspective. I think things are finally just being called out for what they are and have always been. That said it's still just a movie and regardless of whatever prejudice or bias the filmmakers may bear folks can figure out for themselves if it's their cup of tea.

Oh my godddd I loved this movie so so so much. Pretty sure I cried like five times. Some of Stallone’s best dialogue ever. The action delivers brutality like I havent seen since, well, the last Rambo movie. I just got out of the theater and I’m still giddy. I love First Blood and Rambo, but I’m really tempted to say this is my favorite of the franchise. Grabbing the 4K day one, no question.

The extra ten minutes is apparently a flash flood scene that is at the beginning of the film. Out of all the Rambos I genuinely didn't like this. Didn't feel like a Rambo film at all. Not a very good end to the character.

Great splatter film. Shitty Rambo film. I enjoyed it on its own terms, but as far as I'm concerned the Rambo saga ended in 2008. It felt like an ultra gory remake of Taken

I just find it somewhat interesting that usually when a franchise is changed up in terms of tone and approach, everyone seems to go for it. Like Logan to the X-Men/Wolverine series - it's the furthest thing from X-Men: Origins & The Wolverine. Or the progression from Alien (horror movie) to Aliens (action sci-fi).

But it happens to Rambo and it's an issue...

I mean, if it was a patriotic, OTT, cheesy action fest like Rambo 2&3, it would be branded as more of the same/anachronistic.

Not trying to get people to change their opinions. It's just an observation

So, are we gonna start calling this film "Rambo: Dropped Mud" or are we going with the release title?

Aftet watching this at the theater, I left out unimpressed & just really disappointed. Rambo Last Blood better be the last movie in the series because this movie f***ing sucked-azz. The only positives I have for this movie is the gore and the fast pacing. Everything else literally felt like I was watching one of those direct-to-video action movies from the 1990's but with Rambo on it. No thanks to Adrian Gruenberg for ruining the legendary action movie franchise.

I'm super excited to see this. Both Stallone and Schwarzenegger have been cinematic heroes of mine since I was very young.

I like all of the previous Rambo movies, and I'm sure I'll enjoy this one as well. Ultra-violence doesn't deter me. Growing up being into horror films, I used to actively seek out the most violent and gruesome ones I could find.

The fact that critics are panning this doesn't surprise me, for a multitude of reasons that I won't get into here. However, all the hate they're tossing at Rambo only fuels my desire to see it.

I know, I just decided to spell it like that to avoid getting in trouble with the rule system on this site.

Very curious to see how this release rolls out considering different territories got different versions. Might have to import if that carries over to the 4K release.

You could import the longer version if we don't.

So it’s essentially rated G in France? Interesting.

The release of this film was a disaster.

Two different cuts and on top of that there are blatantly scenes missing.

I hope the movie is released properly.

Not really its following the same footsteps as the last Rambo film (2008) at the box office

Didn't know there's a longer cut internationally. Might still see it this week but now I'm a little more inclined to just wait.
