Haven't seen this but I went to the cinema to watch Parasite today and when I was in the restroom the guy in the urinal next to me looked over and said, "What a movie...". I was like "wtf..." and then he said "Midway..." and shook his head and whistled. Definitely blew his mind. I didn't bother telling him I was there to see Parasite because he was already rattled enough as it was.

Saw this yesterday. Thought it was an okay movie, nothing more, nothing less. The action is great but I didn't like most of the performances of the actors. Ed Skrein is pretty bad in this one. Even Dennis Quaid is mediocre. Best one was Aaron Eckhart, but he has a very small part. Patrick Wilson was good too. Probably because of the cringy dialogue.
For a movie called Midway, it is surprisingly light on actual battle of Midway.

Dealsareus is mentioning a release date of February 18th for Midway......
Would be a busy day if that date sticks because Charlies Angels 2019 and A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood are also using that date for now.
I got an earlier date of February 04th for this so maybe that was the digital release date....
We'll see in a couple of weeks what will happen with this title.

What's the odds of chances Metropolitan Films ends up releasing this movie on standard (1080p) Blu-ray only like what they've did with Hellboy (2019) and Rambo Last Blood.

I saw this in the theatre and thought it was an okay enough movie. I'll probably still get this. The performances were pretty flat, which is a shame considering the cast. I have a feeling that seeing it in UHD will show the flaws in the FX even more. So I may just hold off until a couple of reviews or there is a good price point.
