I don't have much hope, as the distributor (Leonine, former Universum) sucks, but anyway:

Does the German UHD contain any translated titles when watching the film in English? (translated movie title, translated date/time displays, ...)

Any verdict on whether this is a good buy? Does the picture quality live up to the 4K standard?

I like these types of movies and prefer 4K discs. Quick side note- I LOVED watching Blade on the recent 4K disc release - made such a difference in my personal enjoyment due to the PQ. This is why I will likely spring for Unhinged 4K disc.

I sampled this today. Disc loads straight to the menu where you can set English audio and subs off. Got Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Looks pretty good but I got this weird issue where the whole picture flicks in brightness. With Dolby Vision off it looks normal. So yes, another German distributor to stay away from.

Nothing like that on the Italian disc/on my Panasonic DP-UB9000.

Wish I knew that before buying this. It looks to be the same problem as Vigilante has but looks far more distracting. I don't understand why no one else reported it. Could be a Panny issue only.

Noticed it on both, Panasonic and Oppo, and ended up switching Dolby Vision off.

I watched it with Dolby Vision on from start to finish, no issue whatsoever (tv's a LG Oled 65E6V).

Told you, Panasonic DP-UB9000. The release... that's gonna take a moment

EDIT: ok, the firmware is the 1.60 release. I've just checked it out: looks like it's the last available release (although it dates back to 2019)

Ok yes we already established it's the German release that's broken. The Italian one has a different distributor so it's a different encode.
