I am usually skeptical with other sites but HDmoviesource is usually on the money.

I’ve never owned this but watched it on TV every year when I was young. I might have to jump on this.

Staunch militant atheist here. And I like the film just fine. Hey atheists can be secular too! I can respect other people's beliefs and appreciate what they derive meaning out of, even if I don't share the view.

For people who do not have a spiritual bent, they can still enjoy the movie as a screen-filling fantasy action-adventure epic with larger than life characters, clear storylines and great set-ups and pay offs.

I think it is possible to accommodate each other's views without losing any of the enjoyment from these films. Everyone's welcome to see what they want in these films!

I'm sure Paramount could bring this to 4K next year.

Agree...atheist here who finds it very entertaining versus "uninteresting"!

Yeah, I remember as a kid my parents watching it on one of the main TV networks every year. I never really watched it...might have to buy this assuming it turns out nicely.

As a person who grew up in a Jewish home. I resent you referring to this as “Christian content”. This I one of the most important stories in Judaism and we observe a Holy Week in relation to the story. I’m not claiming the film, anyone can enjoy but like don’t be so daft.

The Ten Commandments (1956) is a magnificent movie with stellar performances from the entire cast. It's a must see.

I have only seen the film once, but I will buy this, as it shows a demand for 4K classics.

If you're agnostic or an atheist, there's a possibility this movie may convert you into a firm believer but regardless, it's a fantastic movie.

There are some who do put celebrities on a pedestal as if they're Gods, but there's only one. You're entitled to believe what you want to believe, that's your prerogative and it doesn't matter to me because, I'm not the one who's going to judge when your time comes. Whether if you're a believer or not we're all going to die, and then the judgment.

Obviously, that was not my intent. The Old Testament is a shared belief for both the Jewish and Christian faith. If you said "Jewish content" I would not have taken offense but I respect your comment.

I'm a Christian, my father was a Jew my brother in law is an atheist and pretty much lets us know how much better he is and smarter of course since he "has no need to believe in the white father in the sky". My experience with a few other atheists have been similar unfortunately. One has terminal cancer and his wife doesn't know how to comfort him spiritually as he seems to need something. Anyway thanks for your point of view I think it is a great film.

Oh yeah. Atheists can definitely be *******s. They can often have a chip on their shoulder. They may sometimes feel imposed upon and try to lash out.

But they are usually benign and harmless.

And yes, staring into the abyss they do wonder. As I am sure everyone does - for different reasons.
