I look forward to the upcoming remake, with Will Smith as Dr. Loomis. As Michael (played by Derek Mears) chokes Laurie (played by Maya Hawke), Loomis will appear at the top of the stairs and yell "Oh, HELL NO!" and shoot Michael multiple times with a Berretta.

The end credits song will be a cover of "Feelings" by Billie Eilish.

I've always heard it that way, too. I never questioned it until this very discussion, but honestly 'It was' and 'Was it' work fine. "What's the boogeyman?' doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

Apparently the filmmakers of Halloween 2018 almost did something like that. They were going to change the ending of the original Halloween so that Michael kills Loomis and it’s Laurie who shoots Michael off the balcony.
