I wouldn't have minded as much (though still no reason not to) if the new mix had included all the original sound effects, but that wasn't the case. Which is the big problem with many new mixes. The balance of sound being thrown off or the addition/removal of sound effects/dialogue/music.

I hope they at least considered a Sandy Johnson interview and there's some legit reason it couldn't happen?
It's getting harder to uncover or document new material, but there's always something that can and should be done. And it seems like the time to create and approve extras is getting progressively shorter, if the amount of extras is any indication.

The Extended Cut is the theatrical version with the handful of scenes shot for the TV version added back in. It keeps the R-rated material.

The Broadcast TV cut is an edited-for-tv version that has the same handful of scenes added but some other moments are cut. It should be like watching the film on NBC in 1981.
