I haven't, says processing on their site. I hope they get my sets with posters shipped out either today or tomorrow or I probably wont have them by the street date. That would be a real bummer.

The back info doesn’t include the broadcast television cut that was detailed on SF’s website. It only lists the extended cut with TV inserts on disc three. Any explanation of its exclusion or mistake in printing? Much like how the Friday the 13th Part 2 back cover doesn’t have the found gore footage as that was a late addition after set was already produced.

Do we know what transfer the extended cut uses here? Is it the newest transfer along with sd inserts for the extended scenes? Or they just copied and paced their previous transfer?
I've actually never seen the extended cut and fully intend to watch that with Halloween 2 back to back this year, as if I was going back to 1981. :P |

What are you talking about? The last several pages have literally been nothing but people discussing how there is a mono track included, it's just the same, heavily filtered mono track that has been recycled on and off since the 1999 DVD release.

So far the consensus seems to be that this release has better picture detail as they scanned the OCN, whereas the Lionsgate release used an interpositive. Prices for the new editions are the best they are going to get. |
