BAM -- just ordered Halloween II for an in-store pickup at Burbank. Already got Halloween yesterday. So excited; these are the only two I'm getting of this new crop.

It's a fun commentary but I found it funny how scared she kept stating about scenes. I seem to recall Carpenter telling her something like knock it off or get outa here kind of response haha

Finally going to post. Currently on pre-order from Amazon. This may be the best looking release ever. Straight from the original camera negative? Damn!

One thing I'm looking forward to is one of the blu-ray which features

"DISC THREE (Blu-ray):Original Color Timing Presentation"

Can't wait!

Oh, the only other one I would want from this series is Season of the Witch.

Do you not look at peoples' answers to your questions?

And like people have said multiple times...no. It's not.

This is pretty common with Shout. I imagine they have to have all the artwork approved and printed well in advance of sales and final announcements and this is why it keeps happening.

Don’t get too excited. That was Shout’s fancy way of saying here’s the 2007 Blu-ray transfer; the one nobody likes

I preferred the 2007 transfer to the 2013 disc, which was just too desaturated in the daytime scenes.

I'm almost afraid to even try and watch this film any more. I get so confused about which release to put in that I just end up watching something completely different*. Sheesh.

* Or I just jump to III. You can never go wrong with III.

Wait.. not trying to be funny.. or get banned again, but am I getting this right?

A guy makes a joke about burning slip covers in a thread with some collectors who value them.... and that's considered abuse?

Awhile back, I posted a picture of me using my SEASON OF THE WITCH disc from my boxset as a coaster for my beer... IS THAT WHY I GOT BANNED FOR A WEEK??

The ban notice doesn't say what post was the offender and, at the time, I never bothered to look into it as I was somehow able to live with the shame of being banned from an online forum... but is that all it takes?

I've never seen it. Only screenshots of what the 2007 disc looks like. I remember the review on here raved about it. Being full of vibrant colors and lush saturation with its "fall filter".

Then the 2013 transfer was praised for being drab, dreary, and near monochromatic with the desaturated look. Now, from what I read in this thread, Shout's remaster looks about the same as 2007's with bright colors and all just a tad notch below on saturating colors.
