Synopsis

After the Creed family relocates from Boston to rural Maine, they soon discover an ancient burial ground hidden deep in the woods near their new home. When tragedy strikes, the grief-stricken father is driven by the cemetery’s sinister power, setting off a perilous chain of events that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences. I might have been tempted had they offered an alternate cut. I can't imagine ever wanting to put the theatrical version of this on rather than the '89 UHD.

Man what a disappointment it was. Starts off decent enough but turns into a total generic slasher. Also lacked the beautiful score and Maine locations of the first movie. Guess we’ll have to wait another 30 years to hopefully finally get a really good version

There's nothing wrong with the original, still one of the creepiest flicks in the genre IMO.

Not seen this one yet, stll waiting on the sodding release date for the UK.

Agreed. Don’t even bother seeing the remake it’s one of the worst i’ve seen. Absolutely dreadful.
