Except the last movie was eleven years ago. If you adjust for inflation, it's not doing as well. Plus, Rambo 2008 didn't exactly light the box office on fire

I’m quite curious about the flash flood scene because apparently it was very personal for the screenwriter, who said it metaphorically dealt with the death of his son.

So weird that it was cut from the US release.

Personally, I wanted to see MORE Mexicans being killed by John Rambo, preferably in a somewhat creative manner.

Wait, so does he kill random Mexicans? Or just the bad guys? I have not seen this, but the review is written like it's random people whether or not they're bad.

He only kills the villains, not random people.

Had to look at his Twitter page and every other tweet or retweet is something about Trump. Why exactly are you writing movie reviews?

Social media has corrupted everyone and forced people into little bubbles. In this guy's case, every single thing revolves around Trump. You can't make a movie like Rambo because it could construed to promote Trump's rhetoric against Mexicans.

Politics are the new reality TV show and people like this guy expect everyone to be in the same bubble he is in. If Rambo was killing Russians, he'd be cheering it on.

I'm a liberal and these people disgust me. Leave politics and social issues out of movies unless that's what you are aiming for. Rambo is an action movie. Stop trying to make it out to be a political statement when it's not. Just because your life revolves around Trump and politics doesn't mean everyone else or their works of art do.

So is it expected this will be released right before Christmas or is January more likely? Also, I hope it comes with both versions of the film. In that way people can decide which version they’d prefer to watch.

Btw, Rambo was also mixed in both Dolby Atmos & DTS:X. I didn't like this movie at all.

This is true. Only Rambo: First Blood Part II was a great success. First Blood did ok domestically and much better in the foreign but cable and home video made it a hit.

Yup. According to The-Numbers, in the U.S. alone, the fourth film made $40M in DVD sales - and who knows when that figure was last updated. When it first hit DVD in Australia, I remember constantly seeing fathers and grandfathers buying it.

[Show spoiler]Is it the part where Rambo cuts the chest of the human trafficker and rips out his heart?
