I ordered all five movies/posters only, and the status of my order finally says "shipped" as of about an hour ago. When I click on the UPS tracking link, though, it says to check back tomorrow to get an updated delivery date.

Talk to a manager at WalMart. If the disc is damaged, they owe you a new disc. They won't refund your money once it's opened, but there's zero reason they can't replace it for you.

Though really it's Shout that should replace it, since it's not WalMart's fault it's scratched, it's the manufacturer's.

Email Shout again and tell them that Wlalmart won’t take it back. I’d be shocked if they said no again.

For over a decade I worked at a large chain store that sold DVDs and Blu Rays. If a customer came back with a damaged disc, the policy was to give them a replacement disc at the very least. If there was another copy in-store, we’d open that new copy, inspect the disc together (us and the customer), put the new disc in their case, and put their defective disc into the new case we’d just opened and send that back to the distributor as a defective item.

That’s the minimum that Wal*Mart should do. There’s no “you opened it, so you can’t return it” policy; you have every right to exchange a damaged/defective disc for one that isn’t scratched. If they don’t have it in stock, they have to order a new copy and contact you when it’s available. And if they can’t do that, they have to refund you. Period!

I emailed Shout and they agreed to honour my request this one time. I might just stick to buying media from Amazon from now on, considering they have the laxest policy on returning/exchanging media.

Cundy posted photos online while he was in the studio working on this transfer. I think it's safe to say he did more than just sign off on it.

I went to a Halloween signing a couple days ago in Pasadena to get Nick Castle’s autograph. If I had that Japanese poster it would’ve been tempting to have him sign it just to see his reaction.

If you guys don't see the compression let me help you all out. Go to the scene with Annie and Laurie in her 1977 RED Monte Carlo, and as soon as Annie starts talking about being a girl scout making popcorn and watching dr. dementia her car's shock absorbers compress and look at the front windshield trim areas to the right where it meets with the chrome. See all that NASTY Compression?

Now when John Carpenter cuts over to Laurie they hit another bump in the road. Watch that trim I am literally watching it laying in my bed without my EYEBALL glasses on 8 feet away watching it on a tiny 43" LG and can see that compression triangle garbage smudgy mess!! This release is trash guys. Lionsgate doesn't have the compression issues LOL! I can't believe I spotted the compression without even my glasses on, on such a small screen as well. YIKES it's bad, and once you spot it you will never UNSEE IT!!

Scream really puts the scream in your 4k collection

Watched all 5 this weekend. They look and sound great. No gripes here, had a great time with each. Sounds like you just like to complain

Dude, it's so bad. I've never seen a 4K disc do that. Lionsgate picture-wise compression and color is far better. I thought I'd never say that but then I saw the SCREAM 4k. I am glad you can enjoy it
