Now if we could only get the cut of BvS that had execs standing and applauding.
We did get that cut, it was the Ultimate Edition. It is easily in my top 3 comic book movies ever.

Good to see we are on the same page, but I do believe the UE was the original cut that was shown and drew applause. I have only ever really heard of one additional scene that was filmed but did not make the cut. That is after Lex leaves the rooftop. Superman flies up high and listens to the city to try to locate his mother. All he hears are the cries and pain of the people. At this point he understands that he will never be able to save everyone. This also explains why countdown clock is already down to 35 minutes before Superman even shows up in Gotham.

But I dont know what else there could be.

Initial cut was close to 4 hrs. It was cut down from that for the presentation but longer than 3 hrs. Don't know what was in the hour of cut footage, but I'd bet they shot something addressing the killing of Zod.

For those that want 4K and 3D there's a 4K/3D/2D combo pack on Novamedia's website. Pre orders start February 1st.

No it doesn't, I've worked on productions as an edit assist and Picture Lock at time does not mean final. The post workflow is fluid in a sense that there have been times where I've edited past the PL date. Also Picture Lock at times doesn't have a finished score/soundtrack etc.

zodwriter would have a point about picture lock if Snyder himself wasn't planning reshoots. The Snyder cut exists, just don't expect it to be finished, or even representative of Snyder's vision. Man, this stuff is so fun. It's like SMiLE, but with a mediocre filmmaker instead of a genius and somehow even further from prime-time.

Picture Lock means the movie is locked down. Like I said earlier, just because there were re-shoots planned or done, doesn't mean that the movie was incomplete or not final. Remember the studio mandated these changes. Snyder himself seemed very happy with the version he picture locked. Here's another very recent article that supports that point.

I've worked on films too, I understand picture lock. A lot of you are confusing the fact that changes were made with the fact that Zack's cut was mostly completed prior to said changes.

That article itself says it’s a far cry from any kind of confirmation. And it is a far cry.

I've already come to accept we'll probably never see a Snyder Cut. Even if possible, I don't think Warner Brothers would be willing to challenge their decision by releasing a cut of the film that they refused to release in the first place. We all just have to face it, the crap we got may be all we ever get.

It's easy to say stuff like that when you don't really care, or aren't a fan of Snyder's work. However, for fans who know the deal and support Zack Snyder, it isn't beating a dead horse, it's championing a cause. Reports are released about the Snyder Cut almost daily now, where there's smoke, there's fire! You don't have to support the effort, but it's arrogant to expect others to just give up because your tired of reading about it and or discussing it.

Might be time to create your own thread to beat the dead horse vs. dragging people down in this thread.

Is this the Justice League 4K Blu-Ray thread or the "Give me the Zack Snyder Cut because we can't hop off him!" thread? I've never seen such a small group of people so worked up over a movie that isn't even that good.

I've just accepted the fact that until this disc comes out, this thread will probably be the "argue about the Snyder Cut thread".

Blu-ray. com shows the runtime of 121 minutes. Amazon shows 135 minutes. Weird.
