I just got my BBY steelbook in the mail today, and it's minty fresh!

I'm seriously happy to add this to the collection. Oddly, my GF is even more excited about this one than I am.

Has anyone attempted to make a retail-looking custom case insert for the 1923 film/disc on it's own? Where it has typical Paramount design and placement on the back and spine.

Exactly how I felt when I watched the Ben-Hur Blu-ray for the first time. Clearly Charlton Heston is a format seller. I haven't seen this, apart from an odd scene here or there when they aired it yearly on network tv, so I'm looking forward to watching it soon.

Anyone else get funky loose shrinkwrap? I feel like this was repackaged by Amazon. Still came with the slipcover but the paint is peeling off.

Today I picked up your typical reshrinked BD that ALSO came in a clear large sealed baggie, which was then inside the Amazon envelope. The clear sealed baggie looks suspiciously like the ones that UPS uses when they return mail Amazon items sans packaging.

The Ten Commandments movie is very popular movie with people of faith. People into Judaism, Christianity, and Islam like the prophet Moses and this historical movie. The best version of the Ten Commandments for quality and extra features was released on November 23rd 2021. The steelbook version contains 1 BD-100 disc and 3 BD-50 discs. One can see the Ten Commandments in native 4K quality with Dolby Vision HDR and 5.1 DTS HD Master audio. Plus the 1923 version of the Ten Commandments on standard Blu-ray is included with a massive amount of nice extras. Currently only $24.99 on Amazon’s website.

I am going to hold off on writing a user review for this version of the Ten Commandments. The main reason why is because I just watched the movie late in the month of June of 2021, therefore I plan on waiting until sometime in 2022 before writing a user review for this classic faith based movie. If one watches a movie too many times without having at least 6 months to a year gap in between, even the best of movies become less enjoyable if seen too many times. So I plan on watching other things instead this year.

You do get a code for both films which is pretty sweet! I cannot confirm whether the '23 version is the same disc as in the past releases.

Does the Steelbook set really lack the documentary Making Miracles, and Katherine Orrison's commentary for the 1923 movie, both from the 2011 Gift Set and 2020 Digibook?

I was just going off what others have said in the thread. I do not own the Steelbook as I preferred the artwork of the regular 4K release.

The site's Steelbook review is just bizarre, it got the same 2/5 extras and 4/5 overall ratings as the standalone release despite having an extra disc and "collectible" packaging.

I didn’t understand that either. I mean it has everything plus the extra disc. How does it get same 2/5?
