Everybody complaining about the healthy discussions about the Snyder cut....why does it bother you?
And if so, we wont get new info concerning the actual disc for another 2/3 weeks. You dont have to comment how tired you are of the back and forrh. Like what else is there to discuss? Oh i know "Cyborg looks dumb on that cover" soooo much more rivetting..lol (Joker voice) "....and here we goooo..." |

The fact that is wasn't that good is why we are so worked up. I was expecting a proper end to Snyder's trilogy, but instead got something that was a complete mess. I actually enjoyed the movie, but it was the most disappointing movie I have seen in years.

Actually both would be extended. It is 119 minutes theatrically, so Blu Ray would be the slightly extended one, and Amazon would be a pretty significantly extended 16 minutes.
But I think those times are wrong. With the one possibility that Amazon could be listing the Amazon Video runtime, since they include extras in the same digital file as the movie (and have the extras play after the credits) |

This is exactly what it's all about. Waiting years for a Justice League movie and feeling in our heart of hearts that Zack Snyder was going to deliver the movie we all always wanted to see, only to have it snatched away by greedy suits with a joke fetish and a run-time complex. Point is if WB would have left Zack Snyder alone, this discussion wouldn't be happening! The passion behind getting WB to release the Snyder Cut is ignited more and more by the fact that Justice League was such a colossal disappointment. It says a lot when the dominating topic about a movie's home video release is an alternative cut nobody has ever seen.

See that's where you are wrong! Zack Snyder has been liking and supporting stuff to do with his cut of Justice League since the truth began pouring out about this. A lot of people don't realize because they don't care or aren't following closely enough.

That's just the title of the article. The article presents all the compelling evidence that supports the existence of a complete Snyder cut. As well as the other side which was also briefly pointed out in the Bleeding Cool article.

Yes, but it's this latest 'like' that's making everyone go super-special insano and resulting in pish like the newest article above. If people weren't grasping at straws already they sure are now.
Look, no-one's saying that there wasn't a cut of the film that Snyder walked away from, because there was. What people are saying is don't get your hopes up on seeing it finished any time soon. The best signal to give to Warners would be to actually make JL a success on home video as it is, thus proving that the market is there for a double-dip. But if all the, ah, "committed" types stay away then Warners may think it's not worth their time, there's a reason they keep revisiting Donner's work on Superman on video (Donner Cut of II, TV edit of STM which was a complete surprise) and that's because it's been a perennial seller for Warners. |

Here's the thing... If there truly was enough material to make a Snyder Cut, I don't believe Zack would ever come out and publicly say it, because that would be like stepping on Warner Brothers' toes and might jeopardize the chance of ever making it happen. BUT, I do believe that if there wasn't enough material to put a Snyder Cut together, Zack would say so, if only to let the fans know that it wasn't possible and they shouldn't keep hoping for it. In the meantime, Zack isn't being vocal about it, but his support for fans demanding a Snyder Cut speaks volumes, so what does that tell ya?

Or he just doesn't wanna officially step on anyone's toes right now because it's not his answer to give? When the dust settles then Warners will have a look and decide if it's worth their time to bring his cut of the movie up to release standard and Zack is just being smart about it. If he publicly said "there is no Snyder Cut!" then all that would do is bring MORE heat down on Warners from the nerdosphere because plenty of people made their minds up about this a while ago, they'd start blaming Warners for "pressuring" Snyder into saying such things or whatever. And if he does that of his own volition then he's burnt a few more bridges at Warners so he's keeping quiet apart from these coy little 'likes' here and there.

Unless he's an egotistical bastard that just wants to see how far his fans are willing to go in his name. But I'd like to think he's got more class than that. Well, I don't know about that. Just because it may be possible, doesn't mean it will happen. I'm not sure Warner Brothers are willing to admit they might have made a mistake. But who knows? |

The main thing that I think Those of us clamoring for the Snyder Cut have going for us, is that Zack Snyder has had extended cuts and or directors cuts for the majority of his movies, so this would just be another Directors Cut with money being made for WB. Not to mention the goodwill WB will receive from fans over this release. If WB gives fans what they want, they reap the benefits with in the here and now and in the future. It's kind of a win/win. Especially since the theatrical cut was such a failure. I believe the theatrical will make money on home video, that coupled with the fan outcry for Snyder's cut will be more than enough incentive for WB to put it out there. It's not a matter of WB admitting they made a mistake. It's about the fact there is more money to be made off this situation! ...and of course the publicity surrounding this poorly received movie that should have easily netted WB over a billion dollars theatrically!

Good point. They will make more money from a Snyder Cut, because I don't plan on buying the film unless they release it that way. It may end up not being any better, but at least I'd being willing to pay for it based on curiosity. |
