Makes sense. I can't stand Laurie after Halloween II. In H20 she irritates me, her small part in Resurrection even more. I won't see the new ones because I'm completely indifferent to that character now.

This all day. I like H20 but she's one of the weaker aspects of that movie to me. If there is one thing I will give to the newer Halloween films, it is that it actually does feel like JLC is playing an actual character again. Now granted, it's not a version of Laurie Strode I enjoy, but at least she's not just essentially acting like herself.

I know that this has been discussed before, but if I were to buy this 4K from amazon, would it come with the hard case or a normal slipcover ? I don't want to buy one edition and get the box and then get part 2 and get a slipcover. I'm kind of ocd about all entries from a series having the same or similar packaging.

Amazon ships out of multiple facilities, so it depends on which one it's from - there's no actual way to predict or guarantee which slip it'll have (if it has one at all).

I’m fairly certain you would get neither for both one and two, just a standard case. I do see the original in a slip in the wild at Barnes & Noble or Walmart occasionally. Part two probably not so much. Only way to get either the hard shell or a slip would be to go through eBay I think.
