'Tis the way of things. Now, when are they gonna release the Blumhouse trilogy? I still haven't seen Ends, sadly, but been hoping with their track record for releasing Blumhouse titles, so far, that we'd get them at some point.

They're not high art or anything, but they're better than the ones on the original Shout releases IMO. They've got a 90s paperback vibe to them.

What we really need is a rigid slipcase with the theatrical poster on it, please and thank you.

Universal will probably want to milk them for another Halloween or two, and then they'll license them.

Personally I'd rather them keep trying to get the Rob Zombie films in 4K since Lionsgate won't do anything with them.

Everyone whinging about the art (pro & con) but nobody is asking the most important question: Did they improve the transfer for the first film?

This would be wild if Shout just decided to BTFO everyone who bought the hardcase versions by putting the Criterion mono on the first movie and fixing the pixel tits glitch for Halloween II. Just do fresh encodes even. I would actually be livid. The Steelies aren't ugly but it's a low bar right now and I also don't think they look that special.
