As far as I can remember, there are no major issues with part 6 (Curse) or 8 (Resurrection), and, no, unfortunately they are not sold separately - only in the box as part of the licensing agreement.

There shouldn't be any missing special features either as the box is still a Shout release.

The Paramount steelbook of H20 is worth it only if you don't like how the Shout H20 looks, or if the audio issue affects you. Otherwise, it's a barebones disc with no special features at all.

The steelbook is also OOP, so you'll either have to go to ebay for it, or get the Australian standard release.

Imprint tends to have pretty classy artwork and they often use the original poster art, which in Halloween's case would be the move.

Is Imprint the same as Via Vision? The latter released Halloween 2 and 3 BD last year.

Yes, Imprint is Via Vision's boutique label.

About time an overseas label might be giving Scream Factory some competition for their Halloween release. Always was a bit unsatisfied with it, even after buying the movie three prior times. The extras are pretty mediocre since the non-commentary bonus features are mostly ancient (and the excellent Criterion commentary couldn’t be included). The best documentary about the film (Bio’s Halloween: The Inside Story) was also too expensive for them to license (and its standalone MOD DVD is OOP and rare to even find at all). There’s plenty of opportunities for Imprint (or maybe Arrow or Second Sight in the UK) to improve it. Plus the disc itself was pretty early in Shout’s 4K era and isn’t quite up to their current standards, even though the transfer itself was gorgeous and a huge improvement over the Lionsgate disc.

Ah my bad, at the gas station I forgot. Hopefully Imprint comes through, it will be crazy to have three 4k releases of this!

Also notice their caption says “one good scare,” which is a quote from the original Halloween.

Would be seriously problematic if this release turns out to be anything other than this film.

Curse is missing the Horror's Hallowed Grounds that was in the 2014 set.

If they end up releasing RZH2 Director Cut on 4K, I will be singing their praises for years.

They did release Rob Zombies Halloween and Halloween II on Blu-ray so it wouldn't surprise me if it's those two.

Using several seconds of a shot from the 1978 original as a teaser and then releasing the Rob Zombie remakes (!!!) would be like a restaurant advertising itself as a steakhouse but then when you walk in through the doors it’s a McDonald’s.

MY GOD

I'd be down for the Zombie ones! As long as it's not the dumb unrated version with the horrendous
[Show spoiler]r@pe scene

Shout’s restoration/master for their 4K blu but with an FiM encode would be a dream come true.
