That's what I was thinking about Rouge Nation and Ghost Protocol, but after reading the review here of the Ghost Protocol 4K has changed my mind.

Annihilation is a movie I'd love to have seen feminists and twitter SJW's rally behind? But they didn't! They stand up for Last Jedi Lol... When there is a PERFECT movie out there needing to be focused on for strong female representation in cinema? The movie has two minorities in the lead roles. All 4 women act the shit out of it. And deserved to be in those roles and for those roles to have critical acclaim. And no one who supposedly is clamoring for this 'women in cinema' stuff gave a shit to go watch it?... Instead we see actors and producers and directors from those shitty movies (like Ghostbusters, Last Jedi) taking all the attention and making petty gender divide hostility the story of hollywood. When the criticism is legitimate. Love how you have the gall to tout the phrase "you need to look at yourself a bit" when you don't have the self-awareness of the baseless parroted nonsense you've allowed yourself to be mindlessly convinced of.. |

You must have watched the RedLetterMedia "Half in the Bag" episode covering Annihilation. If not, well... that's EXACTLY what they said. And I agree. I hate it when people say "you didn't like this movie because you're a racist/sexist/intolerant" because it starred minorities/women/LGBTQWTF-EVER characters. This is overlooking the shortcomings of the movie itself. Someone should be able to address WHY that movie didn't work for them based on the merits of their argument. Meanwhile, the studio/director/cast disregard the pandering and deplorable desperation for "equality" being used as a shield against criticism, disguised under the guise of "social progress". |

I'm sorry, I only respond to angry YouTube videos. That's how real men communicate.

It's funny about WalMart because I ordered all five of them yesterday evening and all five stated they would deliver Thursday June 28th to my address.
And of course WalMart.com charges you when you place the order.... how come I have a feeling I won't get anything shipped out fro delivery Thursday after they charged my card. I have a feeling I won't see these discs for weeks. Paramount really was NOT prepared for this release at all. |

About half hour in to the first one. I am very confused by the Brass Tax review saying this is a “DNR’d mess,” because so far I have detected no significant DNR. There is no shortage of visible grain.
I will say, however, that much like Saving Private Ryan, there seem to be some pretty severe chroma issues. I’m finding it very distracting here. |

So, I’m just curious... how does a colossal cluster-f of a stocking situation occur from such a big company, on a release that is supposed to hype the 6th movie? Granted, the prices are not screaming “run to the store”, but I doubt anyone wanted all 5 titles anyway.

I just got an email from Walmart.com stating that MI 1 and MI 2 are out of stock and that if they can't deliver them by Fri June 29th they will cancel them from the order.
So it looks like I am getting the other 3 so I went to Target.com and they claim to have stock of 1 and 2 and the only way I can get either for Friday delivery is to pay 5.99 for separate orders (for some odd reason if you combine them both you get free shipping that states Monday delivery) So I don't care much for Mi 2 so I just paid 35.00 for MI 1 which I'm sure will arrive in a destroyed slipcover. haha So now I really wish the US had the option of a 4K box set... just because if you could at least get one of those to ship then you would be ok. Trying to order from multiple site... I don't mind paying 25.00 each for a 4K but so far I've been charged 140.00 from Walmart for all 5 and 3 they can't get me and now 35.00 from Target for part 1 It's getting ridiculous. again I'm not making this mistake again for 4K titles like this Preorder far ahead of time (hope that amazon doesn't mess that up and keep your fingers crossed) At least if you know you can get titles in store near release date you can always cancel amazon orders without being charged. |
