Doesn't help that its the very first thing you see when the movie starts, either.

I had no idea they had to CGI a mustache off of him when I went. I was thinking "what the hell is wrong with his face?" when I was watching.

It's DC, they could have gone the Cesar Romero route and put makeup over his mustache.

I never was able to see his mustache until I get Batman on Blu-ray and it's really obvious. Adds to the campy fun.

That was me, too. I didn't know what the issue was but right away there was something uncanny going on that was obvious.

The execs at Paramount had to be laughing their asses off when they first saw that.

I've heard so much negativity about this that I've decided I'm not willing to blind buy it at $30 -- so it'll go into the wait-for-BF category, or a sale in the summer. There are too many quality films releasing on March 13 that I can't really afford it anyway.

I am, however, curious to see it. I think low expectations have benefited the DC universe because I've enjoyed all of them for the most part. And loved Wonder Woman.

Don’t listen to other people. IMO, most of the complaints are heavily blown out of proportion.

Again IMO, the movie looks fine and is good fun.

To be fair. That scene is supposed to be cell phone footage that’s kind of pixelated. They should have made it more pixelated to mask some of that uncanny valley work though.

might want to watch it again...cause he used a $500 computer...

Yeah. I had no idea when I saw the movie on opening weekend. It threw me because I was wondering what was wrong with Cavill! Was he sick or something? It did take me out of the flick right off the bat and that's not a good thing. Personally, I would have had the guy shave and they can sue me later. I would absolutely refuse to spend millions on CGI if I don't have too. Can't you take the powers that be out to lunch or something? It's less expensive than that CGI. That much I know...

Overall, it's not a bad movie. I had a good time watching it. You might hate yourself in the morning but it is fun to watch during most of the running time.

That’s why you never film a movie of this size and scope in 1.85 thinking you’re able to replicate an IMAX-like viewing experience across the board. Watching it at home makes it look like a made-for TV movie.
