2 weeks out from release. It’s possible but at this stage unlikely.

There's not enough time to fix it. For all we know, they're prepping the DCPs right now.

There's a lot of random scenes from the previews with questionable CGI. I wonder they were part of the re-shoots.

Then again, Wonder Woman's CGI was hit or miss as well.

I'll be honest and say that I agree with you guys' assessment that the quality of the CGI for Steppenwolf is poor. It doesn't look nearly as good as that for Doomsday.

I can't be the only one who thinks that the shade of red used for Mera's hair in JL is much more natural and realistic than that being used for her hair in Aquaman. The latter looks stupidly vibrant and unrealistic; I hate it. Hell, the brighter colors overall are terrible; they make her look like Poison Ivy. This preference for vivid colors is purely reactionary and has resulted in an aesthetic far inferior to that pioneered by Snyder.

You can’t judge from set photos. Wait for finished footage with final colour grading.

Except the picture on the left is so heavily desaturated that it's completely disingenuous to compare the two. Bumping the saturation up to 200% makes it look closer to how it looked before color grading, and the colors clearly aren't as different as you're making them out to be.

And we don't know how the Aquaman costume will look in the finished movie, since we have no footage of it. Lighting and post-production can really affect how a costume looks. Heck, the Superman suit in Man of Steel looked like this before Snyder turned the saturation down:

Her hair still looks much more natural in that picture in which the saturation has been increased by 200% than it does in the Aquaman pic. The problem with the Aquaman pic is that her hair looks pure red, which is unrealistic; real red hair has a natural brown hue to it and isn't as red as a rose. Even if the Aquaman pic were destaurated, her hair still wouldn't be a natural shade of red, because it lacks the natural brown tinge of natural red hair. Heck, it's because of its brown tinge that the accurate term for "red" hair is actually "auburn."

We don't know how James Wan intends to colour grade the film. Reserve judgement until we've seen the first trailer.

The color on the Aquaman picture is oversaturated, but that doesn't mean it's going to look like that in the movie. Set photos are not taken by the director of photography and they don't necessarily reflect the film's cinematography.

For example:

Fine, I'll reserve judgement, but I still don't think that her hair will be a natural shade of red in the final product, mainly because WB is highly reactionary and obviously is steering the DC Films Universe in a more vibrant direction, both in terms of tone and visuals.

Probably too early but a trailer for the Aquaman movie right before JL would rock the theater.

I don't think it's too early for a basic teaser. And yeah, it would bring the house down. Even the brief glimpse of Aquaman we got in BvS got a HUGE reaction both times I saw it in theaters.

I'd say it's too early, but then again we had a BvS trailer nearly a year before that came out. I wouldn't get my hopes up, but it's theoretically possible at least.

Was the "Thanks Alfred, I'll take it from here" reshot by Whedon?

The line delivery is different, the lighting is different...

Why does the CGI look worse than the Comic Con trailer?

Why is Cyborg's faceplate on the wrong side?

Probably too early for a proper trailer, but a teaser trailer in the vein of the first Man of Steel teaser or the first Batman V Superman teaser would work.

I doubt it. It’s probably an alternate take and the shot is mirrored. Honestly, the clip looks like it was prepared weeks ago and might not be indicative of the actual scene.
