I don't disagree with you at all but Rob Zombies Halloween were the worse of all IMO next to Halloween 6 which had a chance to be something interesting with the direction Michael Myers story was going, as for H20 it was a decent return but Resurrection was a pile of garbage. But H20 and Resurrection are none existent now since the new Halloween movie resurrects Laurie Strode and now has a daughter instead of a son played by Josh Harnett. |

Rob Zombies Halloween II makes 0 sense it was mixed between that he is just a regular typical serial killer and Halloween 4-6 where the curse is passed on to the sister with Rob Zombies love of red necks. The first one was just ok and watchable what I hated that he had to make Michael Myers a 6-7 footer and how Dr. Loomis is a real ass in his version of Halloween. I'm not saying all Rob Zombie movies are bad and there are ones I enjoyed which actually was hated by many. |

I must be in the minority. I loved both Zombie Halloweens, the Theatrical cuts that is, NOT the Director's cuts, which are both an abomination.
Rob Zombie is at his best when a studio comes in and reels in his work (ie. Devil's Rejects, Halloween 1/2). When he's given free reign, his worst instincts take over and a turd follows (ie. Hallween 1/2 directors cuts, Lords of Salem, and especially 31). |

It's already been remixed into multi-channel audio by adding lots of new and different sound effects, the Atmos outrage is about 15 years too late because the remixing ship sailed a long time ago. As long as they put the proper original mono on there, even in 192 kb/s DD mono, then they can do whatever the heck they like with the main discrete audio mix.
