Yes, it is, that's why studios should stop dubbing altogether,
especially if it means getting a lesser version of the original spoken language. Just checked the Joker 1080p Blu-ray to see if it has DD+ (it's real Dolby Atmos) (US 4K combo pack) |

I was watching the extras, and then this shot showed up. Why it didn't make it to a poster or a steelbook? It's so good!

I had no plans on making comments about this 2019 movie that was released on the 4K Blu-ray format on 1-7-2020, since I normally only comment on BD-100 disc releases only. However, this Joker movie made movie history 5 years ago in the year 2019. The Joker is still the highest grossing R rated movie in history. The Joker had a budget of $55 million dollars with box office sells of $1.079 billion dollars. Another successful R rated movie from Warner studios. Rated R for “Strong bloody violence, disturbing behavior, language and brief sexual images.” It sounds like a sequel to this movie might be released in the fourth quarter of 2024. It is my understanding that there are around 14 Batman movies and over my lifetime I have only seen a few and have no plans on watching them all since I only own the Joker so far. After watching the Joker, one might wish they could visit Gotham City but sadly Gotham City and the Batman series of movies including the Joker are fictional movies. The Joker movie shows the dark path a fictional human being takes to become a criminal or what some call a supervillain instead of a superhero. The fictional Joker character has some mental issues. Both Joaquin Phoenix and Robet De Niro are talented actors.
Only a total of 53.2GB of space out of 66GB is used on the BD-66 dual layer 4K Blu-ray disc. A total of 30.9GB of space out of 50GB is used on the dual layer BD-50 disc. The studio should have placed all the extra features on the BD-66 disc, but sadly there is no extras on that disc. All the extras are on the enclosed 2K Blu-ray disc. The extras are 2K SDR quality using the MPEG-4/AVC codec, and since there is only around 30 minutes of bonus features, there was plenty of room to fit them on the BD-66 disc, but for some unknown reason the studio decided not to do that which requires a disc swap. Both the BD-66 and BD-50 optical discs both played back perfectly fine with no issues. Because of limitations with my display and A/V receiver the native 4K Blu-ray disc with Dolby Vision HDR and lossless 13.1 Dolby Atmos was downscaled to 2K SDR quality using 7.1 Dolby TrueHD core audio. |

The biggest tragedy of Once Upon a Time in the West being on a BD-66 means it's unlikely we get the HDTV1080P megaton bomb review.
