To be fair, all major retailer consider movies to be a "grab and go" product and finding anyone who know more than you already do in any of them would be hard.

I thought it was a very good upgrade. Although, the fires did look a little too CGI.

I actually bought a slip for this off ebay. I kinda hate myself now, but the one at Walmart was so pretty and I couldn't pay that much just for the slip. The ebay one was $6.

You would be an exception though since you keep up with everything here . Only the few dedicated employees who actually keep up with all the releases and put the work in know what customers are asking about, which is what I was trying to point out in my previous post. Seems like that guy who tried to criticize me never experienced employees who have no idea of what they're doing. I wish I could live in the UK...must be so perfect over there.

Just finished and WOW PQ/AQ are just crazy. Had to turn down sound was just kinda loud. But that's what happen when you have very high Sensitivity speakers. Had to back it down to -32 still insane AQ, Smh...

Even the menu screen was pretty sharp.

Just picked this up @ my Local Walmart (Not a Super Walmart) after driving to both Best Buy & Target with Neither of them caring this title.

Who'd of Thunk... LOL just goes to show you the "State" of Physical Media @ Brick & Mortar Stores.... But Really Walmart LOL

Unfortunately Best Buy's recent "Strategy" with there LACK of Actual Products within their building is making me have to pick up most things Online anymore.
I actually "Like" going in to a physical store and Looking/Browsing... this accounts for more than 60% of my purchases, just by being able to see & touch it, and of course find the BEST SLIPCOVER LOL

Looking forward to revisiting this on my New OPPO-203 and listening to the plane crash on my ATMOS system.

I never liked how Knowing looked on BD, it looked too digital and sterile to me.
I borrowed the UHD BD from a friend today and it looks great which led me to think that either I wasn't used to digitally shot movies back in 2009 or the Lionsgate BD is not demo material.
I really liked how the UHD BD for Knowing looks, it has great detail, great contrast and HDR higlights and color is much better than on the plain BD.
Sound is greatly improved also.

I agree and idk if you watched it in HDR or DV but i watched it in DV and it looked a lot better than the BR with the added HDR and sharpness which had a nice fine layer of grain in certain scenes.

Does anyone know if the digital copy redeems as 4K or HDX in Vudu?

I watched it in plain HDR10 but it looked great to me anyway. I didn't expect such a great picture.

Redeems as HDX in VUDU, so definitely hold on to your code until VUDU adds UHD to it. Doesn't seem like any other providers have this is UHD yet, and not sure if and when it will get UHD.

That stinks. I actually made a trade for a code hoping it’d redeem in 4K since it’s a 4K movie but I guess I was wrong lol. I might end up getting the disc anyway so I can get the 4K version of the film.

This movie is ridiculously good. There is a bit of hammy overacting in the beginning of the third act and some of the CGI doesn’t look very good but the movie itself is excellent.

The UHD looks pretty good and the Atmos track sounds incredible.

This! I was drifting off at one point, but the plane crash and when the "stranger" speaks certainly woke me up. Sounded like a freight train in my room at a couple points!

It was also a great looking disc, to my eyes. Definitely recommend this one.

Pretty good UHD. I noticed the plane crash sounds a slight bit clipped or ‘compressed/limited’ a - don’t remember the BD sounding like that. Somebody should run it through a waveform analysis.
Good flick - hammy overacting is a good description towards the end though.

I did not like the PQ. Sound seemed amplified too. I do like this movie though.

What you didn't like about its picture quality?

I wasn't keen on the picture quality, either. The sound was badly mixed. Acting was sub-par. Script? What script? 4k looked like DVD to me. Was much too long as well. And Nic Cage sucked bigtime.

Apart from those minor niggles, I think the disc and film are fantastic.
