I'm sure you will enjoy it! It's no where as bad as people make it out to be IMO. I really enjoyed it....gave it a 4/5. It just could've used about another 20-30 minutes of character development IMO. It felt a little rushed bringing in so many new characters and clocking in at a 2 hour runtime.

I watched this movie the other night and, just for the record, preface this by saying I actually enjoyed Batman v Superman, at least the ultimate cut.

Everything about this movie, while nice to look at, was unremarkable. Character beats never struck, their chemistry together wasn’t great, the villain was a bore, the list goes on. It did feel rushed, but I’m also not of the opinion that a longer cut that was 100% Snyder’s would have made this movie much better.

So perhaps this would have done better as a trilogy?

I liked it. I don’t think it’s a very good movie but I was entertained so I’m happy I bought it. PQ was great.

I am huge fan of MoS, BvS, and even SS. WW to me was just ok but nothing like the mediocrity I witnessed in Thor Ragnarok!
Wish more directors like Nolan (Dark Knight Trilogy) would handle these movies!

Do both discs have forced subtitles? Always wary of ordering from France due to the risk of them.

I have ordered from France many times and never encountered forced subtitles. I will let you know as soon as I watch the 4K disc on Saturday.

This is pretty much my reaction. The whole thing felt rushed and out of sync. The biggest issue for me the was the villain. He felt like a cartoon character to me so I never felt like anything was at stake. That said, despite all of its issues it is a very nice to movie to look at and I enjoyed it more than some of the other DC movies.

Received French steelbook 4k/3d today, 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Can anyone with this confirm it has Dolby Vision? Does not indicate this on the back and the US version has DV. Thank you in advance!

I have the same French 4K/3D steelbook...HDR10 I assume, but I have not had time to play it yet, so don't quote me on that

I have an OPPO 203 hooked up to an LG E6P, so I like picking up discs that reward my setup. So far I've found DV seems to really pop for me, though HDR10 is no slouch...

It sure is funny to hear Rocky change his tune so unequivocally regarding DoVi.

Thank you so much for letting us know! I emailed Warner Bros but who knows when or if they will ever get back to me.

Definitely watching the 4k first before the 3d. Disappointing the 3d review here was pretty negative, especially since I had a blast watching Ragnarok in 3d...

Definetely watching this in 4K first but you better believe I'll play it in HDR10 all the way through! Thank goodness for having viewing options available!
