It's there you just type in Garden of evil, don't click on the thing that says special promotion because nothing will pop up. It's that way for every TT title on there when you search for them. Of course there are some that are truly sold out.

Found a used “like new” copy of Man Hunt on Amazon for $30. Also picked up The Return of Frank James from Hamilton Books for $7.95, and also Universal’s Scandinavian release of The Driver. That makes the only former TT film that I need to get is La Bamba, and I’m pretty confident that Sony will reissue the film as a part of their pressed MOD line at some point.

EDIT: And now The River’s Edge is also mine.

That’s a pretty good deal considering what it’s gone for in the past. A while ago, I picked up a “like new” copy from eBay for $24 and to my surprise it was sealed (the seller only used a stock photo). I already owned the Signal One disc but I like the film enough to have a backup and/or a Region A-friendly copy.

The book that Man Hunt is based on, "Rogue Male", is so much better than the movie which, like most movies from that time period, saw the need to screw things up with a superfluous love interest.

The book is a lean and efficient cat-and-mouse thriller that would have made an excellent film if adapted properly.

To my dismay, the copy of As Good As It Gets I had ordered from an eBay seller seven weeks ago never arrived. It was last scanned in Jackson, Mississippi, on July 20, and then just disappeared. The seller was kind enough to refund my money in full.

Tonight I found another copy from a different eBay seller. I had read on another thread that some people had used a $25.00 eBay coupon code, HAPPY25, when checking out, and so I tried it on this purchase. It worked! Just wanted to share the news with my friends on this thread. I don't what restrictions are involved (i.e, whether it only works in certain categories or whether there's a minimum order amount), except that it's a single-use coupon.

I've had this happen to me a few times in the past from third parties on Amazon. One was an OOP book that I never got that I'm still bummed about. Really sucks when this happens. It's such a risk ordering by mail. Most of the time it's fine though fortunately.

It's a 25th Anniversary coupon for long time users. I'm not sure where the exact cutoff is, but that's why it works for some people but not others.

I tried it with a few different things before deciding. Allowing for a sample size that small, I think so, but I couldn't say so authoritatively.

Today I received another SAE order and now I looked for my TT order emails and my May-placed/June-shipped order, the biggest, has been received at the customs office only 2 days ago. Well at least it means I'll get it, finally, in a few days.

There are currently 49 copies of Alexander the Great left at SAE.

Interestingly enough, I've noticed that some non-Twilight Time blu-rays have been making the Top Ten Sellers List on SAE recently, for the first time in a very, very, very long time. That would seem to indicate at least some slowing-down of sales for Twilight Time product at SAE. It will be interesting to see if a new promotion is announced between now and the end of the year.
