I don't suppose someone could save me a bit of trouble and tell me of the sale titles which ones are noir titles? Looking at picking up a couple of sale titles and I believe Where the sidewalk ends is a noir title that I don't have, I already have Big heat, but looking for other Noir titles...

All the King's Men Experiment in Terror House of Bamboo Man in the Dark Violent Saturday And while they might not, strictly speaking, be considered noir, two others I'd also recommend are Man Hunt and U Turn. |

Thanks for that, much appreciated. I already have man hunt from twilight and violent Saturday from eureka and all the Kings men on DVD from local release here in Aus. But I will definitely be checking out the others you mentioned to add to an order while the sale is on

Placed a second sale order with SAE. Given all the positive comments and recommendations here, I finally picked up Rapture. And also Bunny Lake is Missing; another blind buy, but the premise coupled with the talents of Preminger, Olivier, and the always-superb Noel Coward is too hard to resist.
Also, both titles were filmed in CinemaScope, which I am hugely interested in. So I am very much looking forward to the cinematography. ![]() |

![]() Despite checking TT's facebook page several times a week, I completely missed this posting. It also doesn't help that their most recent posts are sometimes lower down in the queue instead of at the top. I appreciate you posting this. I will update the OP with the latest numbers. |

Latest low quantity update from the first post of the thread (thanks rdodolak for making me aware TT had finally posted this on their Facebook page).
MYSTERIOUS ISLAND (reissue) - fewer than 150 units remaining SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE - fewer than 200 remaining EXPERIMENT IN TERROR - fewer than 200 remaining FIRST MEN IN THE MOON - around 250 units remaining (out of 5,000) THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO/THUNDERBIRD 6 - fewer than 300 remaining IN LIKE FLINT - fewer than 300 remaining THE BLUE LAGOON - fewer than 400 remaining JUDGMENT AT NUREMBERG - fewer than 400 remaining CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS - fewer than 400 remaining MAJOR DUNDEE - fewer than 500 remaining ZARDOZ - fewer than 1,200 units remaining (out of 5,000) John Carpenter's VAMPIRES - fewer than 1,500 remaining (out of 5,000) There is a new entry......Glad to see Major Dundee finally make the list. Great Peckinpah western that I really enjoyed. Now come on people, let's get Rapture on here. After five years of TT bringing us many great films on Blu-ray, Rapture is still my favorite. A great blind buy that reminds me every time I see it on my shelf why I love classic films and especially making new discoveries of lost in the vault gems like this one. |

But, for people with region free players or in region B territories, there is a better option with the edition from Eureka Classics: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film3/blu-r...re_blu-ray.htm Not only the picture and sound seem to be improved according to dvdbeaver screen captures, but there is also an audio commentary from Twilight Time founder Nick Redman and Julie kirgo ! ![]() |

"the only title with very low quantity is Mysterious Island." That was 2 or 3 days before it was officially sold out, so they did get word out with time to buy. BTW, I have seen a few references that the Zardoz UK disc is better, but I have never picked up the reason. What is better about it? Just curious; if the Twilight Time disc goes out of print, and there's a better one out there, I might sell it and use the money to pay for an upgrade. |

With the SAE sale going on, I decided to take the plunge and I just ordered my first two Twilight Time titles: The Remains of the Day and The Big Heat. I'm excited and happy, and hopefully these two won't become gateway titles to ordering more and more TT BDs because my wallet can't handle it.
